Obama Considering Drastic Changes to the Face of US Paper Currency [Photos] BY JASON W. STEVENS - 328 COMMENTS · IN US FacebookTwitterGoogle+PinterestE-mail bills US paper currency is about to change in a big way. Liberals have long decried Democratic President Andrew Jackson’s face decorating the twenty dollar bill. They point to his role in the forced removal and genocide of the American Indian tribes as one reason among many for despising him. While Liberal hatred for one of the most important Democrats in American history is nothing new, the campaign to replace him on US currency is heating up. And President Barack Obama is taking notice. From The Huffington Post: A nonprofit campaign called Women on 20s, seeks to put the face of a woman on the $20 bill by 2020, the 100th anniversary of 19th Amendment, which granted the right to vote to women in the United States. After conducting a survey of a 100 people, around two dozen of whom were historians and experts in women’s history, the campaign has landed on 15 potential candidates: Susan B. Anthony, Clara Barton, Rachel Carson, Shirley Chisholm, Betty Friedan, Barbara Jordan, Patsy Mink, Rosa Parks, Alice Paul, Frances Perkins, Eleanor Roosevelt, Margaret Sanger, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Sojourner Truth and Harriet Tubman. “We chose historical figures who had really changed the lives of many people and we also took into account the challenges they faced getting there,” Women on 20s Executive Director Susan Ades Stone told The Huffington Post. She added that while the campaign hopes to create a popular movement, any official redesigns will ultimately be up to the U.S. Treasury. … “This is not just a campaign about getting women on the 20. That’s our crowning goal, but we really want this to be an educational campaign and a national conversation,” Ades Stone said. “We wanted adults and kids alike to look at these names and think ‘I don’t know enough about this person, and maybe I should find out more.'” jackson Obama shares the group’s sentiments exactly. And since all it takes is a single swipe of the President’s pen to make these drastic changes, there’s little doubt that Jackson’s days on the twenty dollar bill are numbered. Obama has never been one to shy away from using that famous pen of his, after all. Via Buzzfeed: After two rounds of voting, assuming the petition has at least 100,000 votes, Women on $20s will send their campaign to the White House for consideration. Approving new currency for printing is “something that can be done with the stroke of the president’s pen or the treasury secretary’s pen,” Ades Stone said. “The beauty of this is it is something that a lot of people think is long overdue that is easily accomplished.” President Barack Obama has even said he thinks putting women on currency is a good idea. Obama thinks we should eat dog

President Barack Hussein Obama, in his address to the nation on Independence Day, reportedly advocated the murder, cooking and consumption of dogs. President Obama’s weekly address to the United States citizens featured the following shocking statement: Happy Fourth of July, everybody. Like many of you, Michelle, Sasha, Malia, and I are going to spend the day outdoors, grilling burgers and dogs, and watching the fireworks with our family and friends. It’s also Malia’s birthday, which always makes the Fourth extra fun for us. The President’s alleged “grilling” of dogs was set to occur at a barbecue event at the White House to celebrate the United States on the nation’s 239th birthday. No reports have surfaced yet from attendees of the special barbecue honoring both America and Obama’s daughter, Malia by serving up grilled canines. The barbecue was reported to include “several hundred members of the military and their families” according to the President’s own statements in the address. It is unknown if the serving of dog meat is a common practice at the White House or if this was the first time that particular animal was grilled and served to guests. Predictably, animal rights activists were up in arms with the President’s decision to so casually refer to the cooking of dogs in an official address. “This is outrageous,” said Michelle Sheets of St. Cloud, Minnesota. “I realize there are some less cultured nations out there that still eat dogs, but not in America. Not in 2015. The President and his family disgust me and should be ashamed.” Jack Cole of Lucky Valley, Tennessee wondered, “Is Bo (the Obama family’s pet dog) okay? It seems really odd that people would eat the meat of the same animal they keep as a pet.” As no one who attended the White House barbecue has commented on the event, it is unknown if Bo attended the event; either as a guest or as part of the spread. The last time dog meat was regularly consumed in the United States was in the early 1900s during a meat shortage. Several countries around the globe still regularly consume dog meat; including China, Mexico and past foe of the United States, Vietnam. It is unknown the motivations of the President in this act seen to be “cruel and callous” by animal rights activists on social media this Fourth of July. Many have taken to social networking to complain that President Obama omitted the word ‘God’ from the 2015 Fourth of July address, but many, including this reporter, feel that omission was intentional to draw attention away from the statement about the consumption of dog meat. Altering your kicks with shaded bands is not really another idea - the tennis shoe group has been increasing the style figure that path throughout recent decades - yet there's something about the way the deck shoe's plan that is constantly made a catch-and-relace task appear to be out and out overwhelming. At any rate that is the thing that I thought until I sat down a couple of evenings prior to handle the errand of supplanting the bands in my adored Sperry Top-Siders. I've had one of the brand's relacing units playing find the stowaway around my work area since I'd obtained it back in October lastly chose I wasn't going to let my delaying of the undertaking hit the one-year point. Every pack contains two 46-inch calfskin bands (enough for an one sets of shoes) and a perilous looking five-inch-long binding needle. It's that needle, strung toward one side, that made the entire process a snap. The key is to screw the tip of the trim into the needle decent and tight before threading it through the sides and back of the shoe. After two or three bungled begins (lastly looking at the orderly feature at Sperry's customization page) I had the capacity relace both shoes in under 15 minutes. (Accommodating insight: Use a couple of scissors to decrease the ribbon to estimated the tip of a No. 2 pencil.) Shoelaces, now and then called shoestrings (US English) or bootlaces (UK English), are a framework generally used to secure shoes, boots and other footwear. They ordinarily comprise of a couple of strings or lines, one for every shoe, completed off at both finishes with solid segments, known as aglets. Every shoelace ordinarily goes through a progression of openings, eyelets, circles or snares on either side of the shoe. Extricating the binding permits the shoe to open sufficiently wide for the foot to be embedded or uprooted. Fixing the binding and tying off the closures secures the foot inside of the shoe.
